Management

EHL Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality's management team is responsible for the operational management of the school.

Efforts are focused on anchoring sustainability in the school hotel as well as in the academy. One of management's objectives is to involve students more in the operation of the school hotel and gastronomy so the education they receive is as realistic as possible. Partnerships and networks are also a priority.

Michael Hartmann - Managing Director & CEO

Michael Hartmann took on his role as Managing Director of the EHL Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality in Passugg (EHL SSTH) in June 2016.

His aim is to drive the development of EHL SSTH in line with the strategic objectives of the EHL Group, reinforcing the school’s position as a leader in vocational hospitality education and providing the best career opportunities for its students. Mr Hartman adds: “It is an honor to have such an opportunity to help unlock the growth potential of EHL SSTH and continue its journey toward becoming the premiere international address for holistic hospitality education.”

Mr. Hartmann joined EHL Hospitality Business School (EHL) in 2014 as a Senior Executive Advisor within the General Secretary. He managed the creation of the Lausanne Report, a strategic initiative to position EHL as a thought leader by assessing the future trends and drivers that will inspire all actors of the global hospitality industry.
